Privacy Policy
Idaho Pest Control Crew (“IPCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or request pest control services in Idaho. We wrote this policy to be accurate and clear under the Idaho Consumer Protection Act (Idaho Code § 48-601 et seq.) and related federal rules. If our practices change, we will update this page.

3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to quote requests and schedule or deliver pest control services

4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run the business, including with:
- Service providers that help us operate the website and receive form submissions (for example, Squarespace and Formspree), under their own privacy and security terms
- Professional advisors (such as bookkeeping, insurance, or legal counsel) when reasonably necessary
- Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property
We do not rent or trade customer contact lists.
5. Idaho Data Breach Notification
Idaho does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute like some other states. Idaho’s primary personal-data security statute is the data breach notification law, Idaho Code §§ 28-51-104 through 28-51-107.
If we become aware of a breach of the security of a system that involves computerized personal information of an Idaho resident, and after investigation we determine that misuse of that personal information has occurred or is reasonably likely to occur, we will provide notice to affected Idaho residents as required by Idaho law. Notice may be provided by written notice, telephone, or electronic notice where permitted by statute.
“Personal information” under Idaho’s breach statute generally means an Idaho resident’s first name or first initial and last name in combination with one or more data elements such as Social Security number, driver’s license or Idaho identification card number, or account/credit/debit card number combined with a security/access code, when the name or data element is not encrypted. We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers or driver’s license numbers through our public website contact form.
6. Truthful Privacy Practices (Idaho Consumer Protection Act)
Under the Idaho Consumer Protection Act, misleading, false, or deceptive acts or practices toward consumers are unlawful. This Privacy Policy is intended to accurately describe our real practices. If anything here does not match how we actually handle information, contact us and we will correct it.
7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Our website and services are directed to adults and property decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Cookies and Website Technology
Our site is hosted on Squarespace, which may use cookies or similar technologies for site function, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep contact and service-related information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — including customer service, scheduling, business records, and legal or insurance requirements — then delete or de-identify it when retention is no longer reasonably necessary.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to our size and the nature of the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers or payment card numbers) through the website contact form.
11. Your Choices and Requests
Even though Idaho law does not create a general statewide right to access or delete consumer data, you may contact us to:
- Update or correct your contact information
- Ask what information we have from a website inquiry, when reasonably available
- Request that we delete a form submission we no longer need for service or legal reasons
- Ask us to stop non-essential marketing messages (service and appointment messages may still be necessary)
Email cherradalee@gmail.com or call 208.373.IPCC (4722).
12. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to third-party sites (for example, Google Reviews, social media, or maps). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information there.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
