Accessibility
Idaho Pest Control Crew is committed to making our website and customer communications usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We take accessibility seriously under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), related federal guidance, and the Idaho Human Rights Act’s protections against disability discrimination in places of public accommodation and related business practices.
1. Our Commitment
We aim to provide equal access to information about our pest control services, contact options, and service requests. That includes working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical technical standard for web accessibility.
2. Measures We Take
Depending on the page and platform features available through Squarespace, we work to support:
- Clear page titles, headings, and link text where we control the content
- Text alternatives for meaningful images when we add or edit media
- Visible focus styles and keyboard-usable controls in our custom sections where feasible
- Color contrast that meets or approaches WCAG AA for body text and primary controls
- Responsive layouts that reflow on common phone and desktop sizes
- Multiple ways to reach us if a web feature is difficult to use (phone and email)
3. Known Limitations
Our site is built on Squarespace and includes custom Code Blocks. Some third-party embeds, theme chrome, older assets, or complex animations may not yet meet every WCAG criterion. We continue to improve accessibility as we update pages.
If you encounter a barrier, please tell us what page you were on and what you were trying to do. That helps us fix issues faster.
4. Compatibility
We design and test with modern browsers and common assistive technologies in mind. For the best experience, keep your browser and assistive technology updated. If a feature fails in your setup, contact us and we will help another way.
5. Alternative Access to Services
You do not have to use the website to request pest control. You can:
- Call or text 208.373.IPCC (4722)
- Email jess.goff@idahopcc.com
- Use our Contact Us page when that works better for you
We will take reasonable steps to communicate in a way that works for you, including by phone if forms or online content are difficult to use.
6. Feedback and Accommodation Requests
If you need an accommodation related to our website, scheduling, or how we communicate about service, contact:
- Idaho Pest Control Crew — Accessibility
- Email: jess.goff@idahopcc.com
- Phone: 208.373.IPCC (4722)
Please include:
- The web page URL or page name
- A description of the problem
- The device / browser you used (if known)
- How we can best help (for example, phone callback, larger-print info, or another format)
We try to respond to accessibility feedback within two business days.
7. Idaho and Federal Framework
This statement reflects our good-faith efforts to provide accessible digital and customer-service experiences consistent with:
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as applicable to public accommodations and related services
- The Idaho Human Rights Act protections related to disability discrimination
- Widely used web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) as a practical benchmark
In addition to applicable federal requirements, we strive to provide accessible services and communications consistent with applicable Idaho law.
8. Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is ongoing. As we add or redesign pages, we review contrast, structure, forms, and media. If you report an issue, we prioritize fixes that unblock contact and service requests first.
9. Related Policies
This Accessibility Statement describes our goals and process. It is not a warranty of perfect conformance and is not legal advice. For formal ADA compliance questions, consult an Idaho-licensed attorney or qualified accessibility specialist.
